LicenseLookup has no accounts, forms or sign-ups. We don't ask for your name, email or address, and we never see what you type into an official license search, since those searches happen on the agency's own site.

When you use our own contractor lookup, the name or number you type is sent to the state's data service (for Texas and Washington) and counted in our analytics so we can see what people search for. Don't type your own personal details into it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which state pages and official links people use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and the pages you view. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Links to other sites

Most links on this site go to government and licensing agency websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave.
