Texas has no state license for general contractors, but TDLR licenses electrical and air conditioning contractors, master electricians and a few other trades. This is a a/c contractor license, so it covers that trade only. Texas plumbers are licensed by a separate board.
Before you hire Asr Mechanical
-
Confirm the record on the official site
Our copy is from the state's file dated October 19, 2026. The official record is live and also lists complaints and discipline, which our data doesn't include.
-
Make sure the name on the contract matches
The contract, the permit and the license should all name Asr Mechanical or Higgins, Donnie Craig. A different company name on the paperwork usually means someone else is working under this license.
-
Check the license covers your job
This is a a/c contractor license. If your job is a different trade, the contractor needs that license too, or a licensed sub for that part.
Is this your license, or is something wrong?
This status comes from Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation open data (A/C, electrical, sign, elevator and appliance contractors, master electricians, water well drillers), file dated October 19, 2026, and it may have changed since. The official record is the one that counts. If it's wrong, the state has to fix it. If our page is the problem, or you want this record off our site, email us or see our corrections page.
