What the license should say

In Florida you may see one of these:

Home Inspector: Licensed after passing an approved exam, or by endorsement from another state.

No one may practice or offer to practice home inspection services unless they have complied with the state home inspector licensing law.

Home inspectors must carry commercial general liability insurance of at least $300,000.
