What the license should say
In Oklahoma you'll see one of these on a plumber's card, bid or truck:
- Plumbing contractor
- Highest plumbing license; journeyman qualifications plus one more year of experience.
- Plumbing journeyman
- Individual licensed by exam who works under a plumbing contractor.

Plumbing contractor license, kept active with bond and insurance on file with the CIB.
Doing it yourself
The Plumbing License Law does not apply to minor repairs such as replacing faucets or to an individual who performs plumbing work on that individual's property of residence.
